Natural Treatment for Eczema
Eczema is a skin condition that causes itchy, red, and swollen patches of skin. The most common type is called atopic dermatitis. Everyday things in your environment — cigarette smoke, foods, pollen, and even your clothes — can cause eczema to flare. Identifying and avoiding your personal eczema trigger, or triggers, is an important part of your overall eczema treatment plan.
In my experience as a Naturopathic Doctor, I found that eczema has a lot to do with toxicity, especially in the GI tract, liver and colon.
Your terrain or internal environment is affected in many ways including diet and toxicity.
Research and clinical studies suggest food allergies identified by IgG testing can be a major contributing factor in many chronic health conditions including eczema. Dairy, gluten and eggs has been linked to a myriad of conditions including eczema.
Toxicity comes in many forms. The key to releasing these toxins and creating a healthier internal environment is through detoxing. Our VitaDetox full body cleanse is a natural detox that includes a liver cleanse, bowel cleanse, kidney cleanse, skin cleanse, lung cleanse, and a heavy metal cleanse and is important to do at any age.
Other important considerations when it comes to skin is the use of essential fatty acids which can be found in our VitaFish Oil formula. Our formula contains the right concentration of DHA and EPA to combat inflammation at the skin level but also at the gut level.
Parasite, bacteria, fungus, candida are other causitive factors in eczema. Supplementing with VitaTree® Probiotics is unique in the world of probiotic supplements in that it contains a blend of friendly flora that normally live in the human digestive tract. Our VitaTree Parasite Cleanse helps to kill candida and various parasites, including roundworms, hookworms, tapeworms, yeast and fungi, including ringworm infections.
Your skin is a particularly sensitive organ and is therefore easily adversely affected by the many unnatural things in our modern environment. Minimizing stress and adding moderate exercise has also proven to be effective. Eliminating chemically sprayed veggies and fruits, processed foods, refined sugars, and artificial sweeteners goes a long way toward reversing chronic, adverse health of any type, including skin conditions.
