Organic vs. Natural: Which one is the best?
Many of my patients and clients want to get the absolute best for their families and more and more people today are choosing organic. But is that really the best way to go? When I was creating my Vita Fruits and VitaVeggies formulations, I asked myself the same question. The trouble with organic is that it still uses some forms of fertilizers and pesticides, which are usually filled with metals such as copper. Years of being a naturopath had taught me the dangers of heavy metals when it comes to our health. There have been studies that link heavy metals in the body to many diseases including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's disease, as well as its effects on cardiovascular disease and immune disorders. So while we're getting rid of some of the traditional chemicals with organic farming, we are elevating how many heavy metals we are now exposed to.
My choice for VitaTree was to go with Naturally Grown products, in other words, fruits and vegetables that hadn't had any help from humans. No help to make them grow faster or more colourful. Indeed, choosing the produce the way that Nature intended. This is what VitaFruits and VitaVeggies is based on. When I'm asked if it's organic, I reply that it's better than organic. I have seen thousands of patients with heavy metals in their systems and have seen the effect that has had on their health. I wanted the very best for my patients. All our products are third-party tested for bacteria as well as heavy metals, pesticide residues and solvents, so you are getting the very best.
