Introduction

At Vitatree, we're committed to helping you make informed, empowered choices about your health. That’s why we believe in transparency—even when it comes to calling out supplements that seem healthy but may not support your body the way you think they do.

Here are three popular supplements (or combinations) that we don’t include in our formulations—and for good reason.

Vitamin D & Vitamin K - Great Team, Wrong Timing

Vitamin D3 and K2 are essential nutrients that support bone health and calcium regulation. And yes, they do work synergistically—but taking them together in the same supplement may actually increase your risk of hypercalcemia (too much calcium in the bloodstream), which can strain your arteries and affect metabolic health.

Our recommendation:

  • Take Vitamin D3 in the morning to support immune and metabolic function.
  • Take Vitamin K2 in the evening to aid in proper calcium deposition while you rest.
That's why at Vitatree, we offer these vitamins separately—so you can take them at the optimal time for your body.

Cal-Mag Combos - Not Always the Best Pairing

Synthetic Multivitamins - Not What Your Body Needs

Many traditional multivitamins on the market are made with synthetic ingredients, often derived from petrochemicals. Not only do these lack the natural cofactors found in whole foods, but research also suggests that synthetic vitamins may be linked to increased health risks, including cancer. Instead, look for whole-food multivitamins. These are derived from real food and don’t contain harmful additives.

That’s why all of our vitamins are:

  • Whole food-based
  • Free from fillers and flow agents
  • Sourced for maximum bioavailability

We never use:

  • Microcrystalline cellulose
  • Titanium dioxide
  • Magnesium stearate

Always read the non-medicinal ingredients on the label—what’s not listed can be just as important as what is.
