Naturally Colon Cleanse

Is it time to
do a natural
colon cleanse?
How can you tell YOU NEED a colon cleanse?
When your colon, which is the large intestine, is working properly, women should have a bowel movement at least twice daily, men (usually eat a bit more) should have three daily. If you are not having sufficient bowel movements, it is a sure sign of toxicity. That means that you are extremely constipated & you’re colon is full of toxins that have been building up over time. It’s important for your health that these toxins are released and that you get your bowels moving regularly.
5 WAYS TO CLEANSE YOUR COLON NATURALLY
to help prevent & treat constipation, improve bowel movements & remove toxins.
Fiber & Check your diet
First, check your diet and make sure you are getting enough fiber. There are two types of fiber: soluble and non-soluble. Psyllium contains both types of fibre and increases its volume 10x when combined with water, so that it acts like little brushes on the intestinal wall, cleaning off old fecal matter and debris that has built up over time. Making this part of your daily routine ensures that the bowels start to move naturally. You are cleansing from the inside out.
Raw Fruits & Vegetables
Next, your diet should be full of raw fruits and vegetables. I know that many of us, including myself, are so busy that sometimes this isn’t possible. Rather than not having any raw produce due to time constraints, I take freeze dried encapsulated fruits and veggies to fill in those gaps in my nutrition. Together, they provide approximately 7 extra servings of raw fruits and vegetables. I certainly still suggest everyone eats plenty of fresh raw fruits and vegetables, but sometimes we need a little help.
Avoid wheat, sugar & dairy
Then, it’s important to avoid the foods that can plug up your digestive system. Things like wheat, sugar and dairy. By minimizing your intake of these foods, you help ensure that your colon can function optimally.
Good cup of Joe
On the other hand, coffee can help to stimulate the colon. I recommend 1 good cup of coffee daily (more has the reverse effect). Usually in the morning is best.
Detoxification
Finally, there is detoxification. It’s so important to detoxify, not only the colon, but all the internal organs regularly. Most colon cleanses only take care of the colon. It’s important to cleanse all the internal organs and not just the colon. Otherwise, the other organs (like the kidneys, the liver, the lungs could still be toxic, causing headaches, skin problems, hormone issues, etc. I recommend detoxification for two months, then taking a month break before repeating. That way, toxins don’t have a chance to build up at all. Not only will your colon work more optimally, but all your internal organs will benefit.
