Changing these from negative to positive thoughts can truly empower you and change your life. Every time a negative thought pops up, change it to a positive one. Get your spirit going. Whenever my kids say I can’t do…, we tell them, yes you can! This empowers you which will in turn reinforce the positive thoughts. Visualize exactly what you want, whether it’s a certain job, partner or a house on the ocean. It doesn’t matter how far-fetched it seems at the time, by sending out positivity into the Universe, you will get positivity back. It’s the Law of Attraction in action. Negative thoughts bring negativity into your life. Changing to positive thinking will bring more positivity into your life. A more positive outlook on your life is the first step to ridding yourself of depression. You must take the time to visualize twice a day, every day, for 5-10 minutes. This simple habit can empower you and help you to make the change to a positive mindset. Finally, managing your diet is also a factor. What you eat has a direct impact on your hormones and neurotransmitters and therefore, can affect your mood and thinking. Getting plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, essential fats and good quality lean protein will keep your energy up and leave you better able to handle life’s daily stressors. Daily exercise will also help relieve some of that stress. You are in charge of your health. Simply by controlling your thoughts, you can lighten your moods and your life. Empower yourself to lead a positive, healthy life.
