Knee pain is one of the most common ailments that my patients complain about. You need to understand how a knee joint works to best realize how the pain develops. A pain-free knee joint is one with no inflammation and a healthy meniscus, which is the cartilage between the joints. The meniscus is made up of collagen, which decreases as we age.

Knee and Joint Pain: Natural Relief

Knee pain is one of the most common ailments that people complain about. You need to understand how a knee joint works to best realize how the pain develops. A pain-free knee joint is one with no inflammation and a healthy meniscus, which is the cartilage between the joints. The meniscus is made up of collagen, which decreases as we age. Once that happens, and inflammation sets in, we have knee pain. With conditions like osteoarthritis, the meniscus gets even thinner, so you almost have bone-on-bone, very painful. Mainstream medicine prescribes many types of pills, but all can have side effects and contaminate your system with heavy metals. At VitaTree, I have formulated our Vita Joints with the essential amino acids and sulphur containing molecules to keep your knee healthy. I’ve included bromelain (made from pineapple) which helps not only with pain, but cleans up any cellular debris within the joints. It contains Glucosamine and Chondroitin to support the cartilage, as well as our proprietary blend of high anti-oxidant fruits and vegetables, also helping to quench free radicals in the joints. As well, I recommend my Vita Fish Oil, Vitamin D3 and Magnesium to keep your joints healthy. There are always natural solutions to what ails us, with no dangerous or toxic side effects. While mainstream medicine may help resolve a symptom, often the toxic side effects can cause new issues, such as heavy metal toxicity in the system. The naturopathic way is to get at the root of a problem and not just treat the symptoms.
