Moringa Oleifera the Miracle Tree

Nature has provided us with many natural plants and herbs that can help us stay healthy. One of these is the Moringa Oleifera tree. This tree is often referred to as the “Miracle Tree” for all its healing properties. It grows in India, parts of Africa, Asia especially in the Philippines, Thailand and parts of the Caribbean. The leaves and seeds of this tree have been used for several years to help cancer patients stay well, all over the world. The leaves are filled with high amounts of antioxidants, meaning lots of natural Vitamin C and Vitamin A, and these help to quench the free radicals, which can cause disease. The leaves are high in protein, containing 18 amino acids, making it a phenomenal source of a vegetarian protein (which is so hard to find). That’s why in these countries, the indigenous people are actually using the leaves as a huge part of their diet. The leaves are also very high in minerals, especially potassium, magnesium and calcium. These minerals are very helpful for our metabolism, keeping our bones strong and keeping you generally healthy. Amazing properties indeed, which can be very beneficial if you’re battling cancer, an essential addition to your daily routine to fight the free radicals with all the natural antioxidants found in the leaves. The seeds of the Moringa tree, when crushed, can be mixed with dirty local water and act as a filter to clean it. The crushed seeds mixed with the dirty water form a sediment which sinks to the bottom, leaving you with clean water. This alone is an amazing fact, in these developing countries, where clean drinking water isn’t always easy to find. If these facts weren’t enough to warrant the name Miracle Tree, then the leaves and seeds when mixed together also have an anti-bacterial property. A Miracle Tree indeed.
